I am amazed at the transformation! The new ownership has made some sorely needed changes to this iconic buiness & now it's a safe & happy place to hang out. The restaurant is putting out some great pub grub. They also have great daily specials, steak & deserts. The staff has been awesome! They now have a very fine stage for local live bands with plenty of room for dancing. I have heard their breakfasts are amazing so will be going back for that!
Visiting GP for Dr appointment and was craving a good steak. This was amazing! Very clean, smaller restaurant, server was very friendly, food was served quickly. Would definitely recommend and would come back again. This is called the loaded mashed potato bowl which also has steak bits in it. So tasty!!!
Hard to believe they are rebranding this dive bar into a steakhouse. No shade on dive bars, I love to play pool and generally go to places like this. We are new to the area and visited here before the remodel. it was a nice remodel but still a dive bar. never had any food but I hear it's pretty good. They have restrictions on hard liquid because of an "event" that makes their drinks week and overpriced. I also can't understand how they have a $70 steak in a dive bar setting. Go there for beer and wine. Go for hard liquor of you want mocktails Go for "steakhouse" want good food with no atmosphere.
Went there for someplace new and was hoping for a good meal, Wonder Bur did not disappoint. Three of us ate for thirty one dollars. We had 1/2 order biscuits and gravy along with an egg, a full order of biscuits and gravy with an egg and 2/2/2 ...2 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 French Toast we all had coffee. Service was excellent. Quaint dining, definitely going back. The menu prices are a little different than what's posted on the online menu but not by much.
We went to hear Flat Patty play tonight. The new fold up stage is fantastic! Great service and a great band. Too much fun!
Went back to try breakfast again. Sat outside and it was really nice! My food was rather good, hash browns were great. My fiance ordered the French toast. Waitress just put our food down and walked away, took over 5 minutes, and asked both servers if she could get syrup and if I could get some jam or jelly. Once the syrup finally came, the French toast was too cold for her to eat. Plus, I never got a refill on my coffee even though I put it at the end of the table for her to notice. Seems like she never noticed the empty coffee cup. Seems like the other Waitress had her stuff more together than ours. Probably won't go back mostly because my fiance didn't enjoy it. We did bring the French toast home to reheat!
Great cuts of steak here! [Great Drinks also] Food is very good overall as is the atmosphere. I've taken Dates here & have made reservations for larger groups. Always a fantastic choice.
